Garlic Alfredo Sauce

Garlic tastes great, and it makes a simple and welcome addition to a traditional Alfredo sauce. The below recipe should please everyone in your family who likes garlic. You can dial the garlic up or down depending on how much garlic you like.

Simple Alfredo Sauce with Garlic Recipe

Ingredients

  • A pound of dried fettuccine
  • A stick of sweet butter
  • A cup of heavy cream
  • A cup of Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

Boil the pasta. In a separate pot or pan, melt the butter. (Don't do this in the microwave; that will change the flavor of the butter.)

Drain the pasta, and toss it with the butter, the cream, and the cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Add between 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon of garlic powder when you toss the pasta with the sauce, depending on how much garlic you can stand.

Garlic Alfredo sauce doesn't get any simpler than that.
